Located in Louisville, the school features career-focused programs with small class sizes. This program is a quick, straight-line approach to an entry-level position in the baking profession. It is designed to give the student a working knowledge of the procedures, ingredients, and "do's" and "don'ts" inherent in successfully functioning in a variety of baking environments including in-store and independent retail bakeries as well as large commercial and domestic establishments. Diploma - Professional Cook
The Professional Cook is the mainstay of all commercial food preparation. Professional cooks deal literally "hands-on" with food, its storage and cleanliness, as well as its preparation and presentation utilizing a variety of styles and techniques. The Professional Cook program differs from the associate degree program specifically because it does not emphasize the general studies courses necessary for the degree.
