If you are interested in a legal career, you will find that a range of educational facilities offer a variety of programs designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge and training.

Law degree schools train future lawyers and are open to students who have already completed a bachelor's degree. After three years of study students are awarded law degrees, but must take bar examinations to practice as attorneys.

Legal colleges offer different programs leading to paralegal qualifications: associate's and bachelor's legal degrees are available, while graduate students can take short, intensive certification courses to prepare them for paralegal work.

Located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the city of Columbus is one of the largest in Georgia, with a population of almost 300,000 people. It has always been a center of trade and industry, using the river to power textile and saw mills. Today it is also an important cultural center.
