CCNP Certification and Education

If you are a Cisco networking professional who already holds CCNA certification, a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification and education program is your next step in becoming an expert in Cisco's networking technology. By earning a CCNP you show that you can configure and maintain Cisco networks with up to 500 nodes.

A CCNP certification program is designed specifically to teach the skills you need to earn the CCNP certification. In the program you'll gain advanced knowledge of how to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot complex-routed LANs, WANs and Switched Networks. You'll learn about topics such as security, quality of service (QoS), virtual private networks (VPN), converged networks and broadband technologies. In addition you'll gain the knowledge you need to pass the four exams that comprise the CCNP certification: Building Scalable Cisco Interetworks (BSCI), Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN); Building Cisco Remote Access Networks (BCRAN), and Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting Support (CIT).

Your CCNP certification will enhance your job prospects as a Cisco network professional, as well as prepare you to earn the most advanced Cisco networking certification, the CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional).
