Certified Novell Administrator Certification and Education
If you are a technology professional with computer networking skills, or a student who has a Network+ certification, you can advance your network administration career through Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) certification and education. By earning a CNA you'll demonstrate that you can provide support for Novell networks in various work environments including small businesses, corporate work groups and enterprise information services.
A Novell Administrator Certification program is designed specifically to teach the skills you need to earn the CNA. In the program you'll gain knowledge in the foundations of Novell networking. You'll learn how to install and configure Novell client software, how a client workstation communicates with the network, how to manage user accounts, how to manage directory trees and how to control all the other aspects of a network, including printing, file sharing, login scripting and file security. You'll also learn the basics of installing server software. Once you complete your program, you will take an exam to earn your certification.
Your CNA certification will enhance your job prospects as a Novell administrator. It will also prepare you to earn more advanced Novell certifications, such as the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) certification or the Certified Directory Engineer (CDE) certification.
