LANs Administration and Technology Education
LANs (Local Area Networks) are vital to organizations as they are a convenient way to share resources of a number of PCs. Typically an organization will have a number of LANs, allowing each user to share files and programs through its server, plus the use of specialized peripherals such as printers and scanners.
There is a wide range and growing number of LANs present in private and public agencies in the USA today. Education in LANs administration and technology offers a wealth of opportunities in these organisations.
Education in LANs is suitable for technology professionals who want to widen their opportunities in this area, or for students who are looking to enter the profession. It is also relevant for project managers, sales professionals, designers, administrators and network managers who are considering implementing or selling LANs and need an understanding of the benefits and issues involved in implementing them in an organization.
Courses offer an overview of the technologies and equipment involved with designing, delivering, implementing, and administering a LAN. Theory will probably be mixed with practical demonstrations and 'hands on' education providing the fullest understanding of the subject.
LANs courses are available at technology schools and online, so will suit the beginner and the busy professional.
