Utah colleges are quite famous for producing successful and driven graduates.  Part of this stems from the strong Mormon influence that instills industrious and studious virtues in its followers, but that is not the only reason that Utah colleges continue to thrive year after year.  Schools and universities in the "Beehive State" seem to regard education in high esteem because academia has been the backbone of this mountainous region ever since the earliest settlers arrived more than a century ago.  In the years since, Utah has constantly sought ways to improve its already solid image.  And the results have been quite impressive.

Although the Rocky Mountains will forever hold the title for supreme skiing, Utah has a number of slopes that provide some formidable competition.  Advanced skiers from all over the world descend on Utah to test out its peaks.  For the slightly less adventurous, there are an abundance of hiking trails and campsites to satisfy your taste for the great outdoors.  You could spend days and weeks without seeing another living soul.

The cost and effort of securing a solid higher education is becoming more problematic for many Americans.  Utah has taken great strides to remedy this problem by offering distance learning degrees through its many online schools.  Such programs are usually cheaper than traditional campus programs, not to mention that you won't spend money on commutes, dorm expenses, or meal packages.  Online schools are excellent options for those on a tight budget or tight schedule.
