Cherries

I feel into your spell
Which you so easily cast upon me
You held me so close
You touched me just right
You helped me lose everything
All, in one night
I've been sitting in the same spot for too long
Thinking of how we hurt me so
But all I know is I said yes,
Yes to a lesson
Which I needed to learn
A lesson that would make my heart burn
It burns still to this day
I just wish someone would make the burn go away.

Partners for Life is a Cool Concept

My mom travels all the time, it is what she has to do for a living. I miss her so much that it hurts at times. I see how difficult being a divorced mom can be, it makes me realize from watching her that I don't want any kids, especially by accident at my age.

I think that our genration of teenagers needs to make a pact. A pact to make being a family and staying married cool again. Not to fool around at such a young age, or if we do to be smart enough to protect ourselves.

Being partners for life is a cool concept, we need to figure out how to come together and make it happen. We need to find a way to listen to each other, a way to come together, a way to be sensitive to each other.

We could be a generation that future generations will want to be like, as well as be proud of. So how do we set the standard? Write me with your thoughts at naddybrat@aol.com
